What is VISIA SKIN ANALYSIS?
The appearance of our skin is influenced by intrinsic factors (genetic characteristics that we can’t change) and extrinsic factors (facial care and external aggressions such as sun exposure).
VISIA Skin Analysis is a revolutionary piece of software that, by scanning our skin, evaluates eight factors that affect its appearance: irregularities, wrinkles, texture, pores, bacteria and various types of blemishes. On the other hand, VISIA allows us to identify our TRUSKIN AGEwhich is not always the same as our real age.
Very well-treated skin can reveal an age that is younger than the patient’s actual age, while untreated and damaged skin can reveal an age that is much older than the patient’s actual age. By analyzing TRUSKIN AGE and identifying skin problems, it is possible to improve its health and appearance through specific and targeted anti-aging treatments.

Skin problems identified by VISIA SKYN ANALYSIS:
Stains
Brownish or reddish spots that are identified by the difference in tone compared to the natural color of the skin. The spots can vary in shape and size.
Wrinkles
Creases and expression lines that can worsen due to the natural aging process, decreased elasticity and sun exposure.
Texture
Areas with depressions and/or elevations that affect the appearance and smoothness of the skin.
Pores
Small openings of the sebaceous glands visible on the surface of the skin. Enlarged pores are identified by small dark spots that contrast with the skin's natural color.
UV stains
UV spots" result from the absorption of ultraviolet rays by the melanin present in the epidermis, resulting in spots caused by excessive and unprotected sun exposure.
Brown spots
Areas of hyperpigmentation and discoloration below and/or on the surface of the skin caused by genetic factors and external aggressions.
Red spots
Localized reddish areas related to various conditions such as inflammation, rosacea, acne marks, "vascular spiders" and others.
Bacteria
Bacteria that lodge in enlarged pores and are identified as white dots on the surface of the skin.

The scan is completely painless and takes just a few minutes. A series of images will be captured at various angles which will serve as a basis for diagnosis and as a starting point for assessing the progression of results.

Skin problems that are not yet visible to the naked eye can be identified and an ageing prevention treatment started.

VISA reveals the true age of the skin, i.e. it compares your skin with a vast database of patients of the same age and skin type in order to calculate the age of your skin. For example, a 40-year-old patient with excellent skin quality can be assessed with a 35-year-old TruSkin age, or vice versa.

VISIA acts as a follow-up to the treatment plan – it shows the progression of results over time and can make adjustments to treatments if necessary.
