1. IPL Ellipse (VL, PR and PL)

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) uses controlled pulses of light to treat signs of ageing, sun damage and other skin problems.
This system allows visible skin improvements, both for the upper and lower layers, and revitalizes skin molecules, with results that have been clinically proven for over 20 years.

With minimal discomfort, IPL can keep your skin looking youthful, even as you age.

2. Nd:YAG laser

The Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm) is indicated for the treatment of vascular lesions such as strokes, telangiectasias and small varicose veins.

This is an aesthetic procedure that uses laser energy to close the dilated blood vessels that cause strokes.

Main indications:
  • Treatment of varicose veins;
  • Treatment of telangiectasias (thin, reddish veins that appear on the skin, usually on the legs, face and breasts).

Laser treatment for vascular strokes is a safe and effective procedure, with visible results in just a few weeks. The number of sessions required varies according to the size and location of the strokes, but generally 2 to 3 sessions are needed.

3. Frax Fractional Laser

Frax (1550 nm and 1940 nm) is a non-ablative fractionated laser that performs controlled skin resurfacing, stimulating collagen production and promoting skin renewal.
Improves skin texture, firmness and luminosity, reducing fine wrinkles, scars and enlarged pores.

Main indications:
  • Facial rejuvenation and improved skin firmness;
  • Treatment of scars and fine wrinkles;
  • Reduces pores and evens out skin texture.

SESSIONS AND RECOVERY

  • Each session lasts between 20 and 45 minutes, depending on the area and the protocol defined.

Doctor with a Master’s Degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the New University of Lisbon (FCML), specialist in Radioncology at the Portuguese Institute of Oncology, Francisco Gentil (IPO).

Between 2010-2013 he worked at the MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) in Texas, the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and the National Cancer Institute (INCA) in Rio de Janeiro. In 2014 she was a Hospital Assistant at the IPO and since 2015 she has been a Hospital Assistant at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Lisboa Central (CHULC). In 2020 she graduated in Aesthetic Medicine from the Portuguese Society of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Medicine (SPMEc).

Although his passion for Aesthetic Medicine first arose from strengthening the self-esteem of cancer patients – oncoaesthetics – he now has a huge passion for the skin, our largest organ, and for looking at it as a whole, especially preventatively.

The main aim of his approach is not just to rejuvenate, correct asymmetries or improve the quality of the skin, but to contribute to a pleasant and attenuated ageing process, reducing the effects of time, with natural results that maintain the patient’s identity.
