I intend to treat
FOREHEAD, GLABELLA AND CROW'S FEET
What are they?
Forehead wrinkles
These wrinkles usually appear horizontally in the forehead area, as a result of facial expressions such as raising the eyebrows or making an “angry face”. They are wrinkles associated with facial movement, but if left untreated they can become deep and visible even when the face is at rest.
Periocular wrinkles / "crow's feet"
Periocular wrinkles, commonly known as “crow’s feet”, appear around the eyes. They appear due to muscle activity linked to facial movements such as laughing and are associated with loss of elasticity and ageing of the skin.
Glabellar Wrinkles / "Between the Eyebrows"
Glabellar wrinkles or wrinkles between the eyebrows appear due to the contraction of the muscles in the glabella region, associated with facial expressions of “frowning” and “worry”, and are also associated with the loss of collagen and skin tension.
How are they formed?
Wrinkles on the forehead, “crow’s feet” and “between the eyebrows” are part of the group of dynamic wrinkles and are always associated with facial movements and muscle activity. These involuntary muscle movements cause the skin to crease in these areas, giving rise to wrinkles. It is difficult to prevent dynamic wrinkles from forming as they are part of our daily lives, but it is possible to improve their appearance and prevent them from becoming static and creased.
