Botox treatment for trapezius tension
Case description
The patient had marked tension and hypertrophy in the trapezius muscle, showing discomfort associated with prolonged posture, stress and muscle overload, which also gave the shoulder region a more voluminous appearance.
Treatment carried out
Botulinum toxin was applied to the trapezius muscle with the aim of reducing hypertonia and muscle overload. By acting directly on the tension and volume of the trapezius, the treatment provides relief from discomfort, muscle relaxation and a lighter, more elongated and balanced upper silhouette.
